Ново земетресение е регистрирано днес в централния турски окръг Нигде. Трусът е с магнитуд 5.3 по Скалата на Рихтер, показва справка на сайта на сеизмологичната обсерватория Кандилли в Истанбул, съобщава БТА.
Земетресението е регистрирано в 12:27 ч. българско време в район между градовете Обрук и Бор, а дълбочината му е била на пет километра под земната повърхност.
Трусът е регистриран и от правителствената Дирекция за управление при бедствия и извънредни ситуации (АФАД), която е отчела същия магнитуд. По данни на сайта на АФАД за последните земетресения се посочва, че епицентърът е бил в околията на Бор на дълбочина 7 км.
Южна Турция регистрира засилена сеизмична активност след двата труса с магнитуд 7.7 и 7.6 по Рихтер с епицентър в окръг Кахраманмараш на 6 февруари. Над 50 хиляди са жертвите на тези земетресения в Турция и съседна Сирия.
По последни данни в Турция земетресението е отнело живота на 44 218 души.
