Изчезналият куб от скулптурната композиция Арката на Димчо Павлов вероятно ще бъде възстановен. Такава заявка даде пред Под тепето зам.-кметът по култура Паламен Панов.
Изработената от Свилен Костадинов каменна реплика на оригиналния бронзов куб към монументалната творба, откраднат от Цар-Симеоновата градина още през 90-те, не бе намерен в склада на „Градини и паркове” при днешната проверка на място на директора на предприятието Веселин Козарев. От общината обаче са твърдо решени да върнат на мястото й в парка цялата монументална композиция, а не само Арката от гранит черноморец. Вчера Под тепето се свърза със скулптора Свилен Костадинов, който подчерта, че би се ангажирал да изработи отново куба с размери 50/50, ако бъде намерен подходящ материал. Този, който той е направил през 1997г. по оригиналния калъп на Димчо Павлов, е бил от зелено габро.
„ Ще вървим в посока възстановяване на изчезналия куб. Искаме усещането за Арката след завръщането й в Цар-Симеоновата градина да бъде пълно. Ще търсим връзка със Свилен Костадинов. Единственият вариант остава възстановяване на куба, но първо трябва да бъде гласуван бюджета за 2021г.”, обясни за Под тепето Пламен Панов.
