Окончателните резултати потвърдиха очакванията от началото на деня за шарен общински съвет с осем партии в Пловдив. Финалните резултати обаче дадоха малко по-различни резултати. В крайна сметка ситуацията е следната: най-голямата група е на ГЕРБ-СДС с 13 съветника, следвани от „Продължаваме промяната – Демократична България“ с 10. Трета сила е групата „Съединени за Пловдив“ около Славчо Атанасов с 8 съветника.

По-малки сили ще бъдат – изненадата „Браво, Пловдив“ с 5, колкото имат и „Възраждане“. По 4-ма местни депутати вкарват БСП и „Има такъв народ“, а ДПС ще бъдат представени с двама души.

Размествания в листата на ГЕРБ с преференции няма. Тази година партията заложи на доста нови лица за районни кметове, но листата общински съветници е с познати имена. Новото-старо лице в групата е Слави Георгиев, който има дълъг опит в местния парламент, но през други политически сили.

Групата на ПП-ДБ ще бъде от 10 съветника – с 6 повече спрямо досегашния парламент. Местата си запазват ядрото от 4-ма от предходния парламент Веселка Христамян, Веселина Александрова, Добромира Костова и Владимир Славенски. Освен тях влизат още Йоно Чепилски, Борислав Матеев от ДБ, както и четирима от ПП: Венцислава Любенова, която се бори за пост и в район „Северен“, Александър Ракшиев, Георги Рогачев и Николай Гюров, който пък е на балотаж за „Тракия“. Ако някой от тях спечели пост в „Северен“ е възможно да има размествания, като следващите двама в листата са Тодор Токов и Красимир Александров, който от своя страна се бори за пост в „Южен“ и при победа може да осигури пост за Ангел Първановски. Формално разместване с преференции прави Манол Пейков, но той заяви, че ще се откаже от мястото си на съветник.

8 са съветниците от „Съединени за Пловдив“, повечето от които известни имена от три от партиите в обединението – ВМРО, „Кауза Пловдив“ и ЗС „Александър Стамболийски“. Първата партия вкарва известните имена на Славчо Атанасов, Стефан Послийски и Владимир Кисьов, от земеделците също влизат популярните лица на Георги Колев и Кирил Търев, както и с преференции – Тони Димитров. „Кауза Пловдив“ си осигурява две депутатски банки – за Георги Титюков и Константин Георгиев.

Пет общински съветника вкарва и „Браво, Пловдив“, сред които две известни имена от други политически сили – Савина Петкова и Борислав Инчев, както и борещият се за „Изгрев“ Ерол Садъков.

Нови имена влизат от листите на ИТН и Възраждане. Доста нови лица имаше и в БСП, където претърпяха вътрешни промени, но сред съветниците познато е името на кандидат-кмета им Костадин Палазов. Двама съветника вкарва и ДПС – Яшар Асан и Али Байрям.
